Cooling TowersAs the name implies, the towers are designed to cool down the heat generated in industries from several sources, for instance, machine, heater process material. The sectors in which cooling towers can be erected are Power plant, Food processing plant, Petroleum refineries, Petroleum plant, and semi-conductor plant. The heat generated from these plants is dissipated to atmosphere through these towers. There are two kinds of towers, one which are permanently erected on-site, two which are portable ones and can be transported on trucks due to their compact design. One of a popular examples of erected Industrial Cooling Tower and Water Cooling tower are cooling tower of Kalisindhu Thermal Power Station, Rajasthan, India. It is the tallest tower in the world with 663 ft. height. While, the other kind is available in several shapes and sizes with limited capacity compared to its contemporaries.
